CONSIDER THESE ACTIVITIES WHEN PREPARING FOR MARKET
Paint – possibly the most impactful of any improvement. Freshen walls and ceilings inside and fences and screens outside.
Decks – sand, stain and repair any broken or rotten boards.
Gardens – tidy, trim (hedges & over-grown trees and shrubs) and mulch garden beds.
Concrete – consider replacing any old or damaged concrete drive ways and paths. If in good condition, pressure clean and possibly paint.
Kitchen – look for budget friendly ways to modernise such as replacing splash backs (or paint if tiled), painting existing cabinets and replacing handles and resurfacing laminate bench tops.
Bathrooms – replace old fixtures such as vanities, toilets and shower screens. Paint tiles a neutral colour and add finishing touches such as a new mirror.
General Maintenance – look for any areas that may be a problem on a building report.
